Depending on which type of test has been ordered for you, you may be given the option to view your results on a digital platform.
Most test results are sent via the NHS App, or via Patient Access.
However, if you don’t have access to either of these, or your results are not available on there, you can request them via our online consulting system. Alternatively, you can call your practice reception, who’ll be happy to help.

Depending on your condition or symptoms, your GP may request certain tests for you. Some may take place at our practice, and others at local hospitals or other providers - and when and how you receive your results can depend on the type of testing you’re asked to undertake.
You’ll usually be told how long you can expect to wait, and how you should expect to receive your result, when you’re referred for your test - so please make a note of this information at your appointment if you can. In almost all cases, you’ll receive the results of hospital tests and investigations from the hospitals themselves.
It’s increasingly common for results to be made available to you via an online platform—of which there are a few. These are all linked to below and at the top of this page. If you’re not sure which to use, you’re probably best placed to request your results via our Online Consulting Platform—or alternatively, you can call your practice to request your results.
NHS App
Owned and run by the NHS, the NHS App is a simple and secure way to access a range of NHS services on your smartphone or tablet.

Patient Access
Many tests run through primary care providers will be uploaded to your Patient Access account—so if you’re registered with Patient Access with us, you can click here to log in and view your results. If you aren’t registered with Patient Access as a Haresfield & Kempsey patient, you can contact reception, who’ll send you the details you’ll need to sign up.
